Free Waffle Puzzle — Swap Letters to Solve 6 Words
The Waffle is a letter-swap word puzzle played on a 5×5 grid. All the letters are already on the board — they're just in the wrong positions. Swap two letters at a time to form 3 horizontal and 3 vertical 5-letter words. You have 15 swaps to solve the puzzle (12 on Hard). Use fewer swaps to earn more stars: 3 stars for 10 or fewer, 2 stars for 12 or fewer. Green cells are already correct and can't be moved. Yellow cells contain a letter that belongs in a different position in the same word.
How do you play the Waffle puzzle?
Tap any non-green letter, then tap a second letter to swap them. Green means the letter is in the right spot and is locked. Yellow means it belongs elsewhere in that word. Solve all 6 words before you run out of swaps.
How are stars earned in Waffle?
3 stars: solved in 10 swaps or fewer. 2 stars: 11–12 swaps. 1 star: 13–15 swaps. Running out of swaps without solving scores 0 stars.
